Took a little trip to the North Georgia & Smokie Mountains for a Fall photo trip.  Overall the leaves were disappointing, but I did run into patches of brilliant color.  Also, saw a herd of beautiful elk before sunrise in the Smokies.  Unfortunately there was too little light to get any clear shots, but it was an awesome sight to see those grand creatures grazing in the open meadow at the foot of a mountain.
